Limited Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the work. Every install is warranted free from defects in workmanship for one (1) year from the date of substantial completion.

The Coverage

SecureBound Contracting LLC warrants that all workmanship performed under your agreement will be free from defects in installation for a period of one (1) year from the date of substantial completion.

What’s covered

Defects resulting from improper installation or workmanship
Loose fence posts caused by improper installation
Gate alignment or adjustment issues resulting from installation
Deck framing or fastening defects caused by installation
Electrical devices, lighting, receptacles, switches, and wiring we installed that fail due to installation errors
Labor required to repair covered workmanship defects — at no charge during the warranty period

Manufacturer warranties

Materials, equipment, gate operators, lighting fixtures, electrical devices, and other products are covered only by their respective manufacturer’s warranties.

SecureBound Contracting LLC will assist you with warranty claims whenever possible; however, replacement materials may be subject to manufacturer approval.

The Fine Print

What this warranty does not cover

Damage caused by vehicle impact, vandalism, abuse, misuse, or neglect
Storms, flooding, lightning, high winds, fire, earthquakes, or other acts of nature
Normal settling, shrinkage, expansion, or movement of wood and soil
Natural weathering, fading, discoloration, checking, cracking, or warping of wood
Rust or corrosion caused by environmental conditions or lack of maintenance

Damage caused by improper operation of gates or gate operators
Electrical issues caused by power surges, utility outages, lightning, or equipment connected by others
Work altered, repaired, or modified by anyone other than SecureBound Contracting LLC
Existing conditions or concealed defects not visible before construction
Routine maintenance or adjustments after the first 30 days, unless caused by defective workmanship

Your responsibilities

To keep your warranty coverage in effect, you agree to:

Perform normal maintenance and cleaning
Operate gates and gate operators according to manufacturer instructions
Keep vegetation, debris, and obstructions away from fences, gates, and electrical equipment
Promptly notify us of any warranty issue before additional damage occurs
Allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and repair any covered defect

Limitation of liability

SecureBound Contracting LLC’s obligation under this warranty is limited solely to repairing or replacing defective workmanship. The company shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to personal property.

This warranty is non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing and applies only to the original purchaser.

Any unpaid balance on the contract will void this warranty until payment is made in full.
